Last night was pretty awesome, I'm not gonna lie.
So at around eight Uri and Pete come in and complain that there's nothing to do around Fulton. It's true, most Fultonites were either home for the weekend or away at the LEAD retreat. So I suggested we play on my not-so-healthy XBox. Uri and Pete setteled down and we played Left 4 Dead.
Before we started playing, Uri brings in his amps and laptop and starts blasting techno/dance/etc... some crazy experimental stuff. We can't hear crap on the TV but we're having fun.
We finish up at around 9:30, when Lindsey and Lauren walk in. They start talking to me and we're having a nice time. When out of the blue Lindsey's all like: I want to play Rock Band! Let's play! So I "borrow" John's Rock Band 2 disk and plop it in. And I attach my drums and guitar... and find out the XBox LIVE mics work... limitedly.
We start up and Uri and John enter back in. John plugs in his guitar, and we're all set.
We all play for hours and hours, struggling through hard songs and easy songs alike. It was tons of trouble but load of fun. We play until visitation ends: 12:00... it's also the time Lindsay needs to do her final RA rounds. So she was done as well as Lauren.
So Uri, John, Pete and I finish up some more songs. We play until about 1:20, so none of us got to sleep until around 2. It was pretty crazy.
Oh ya! Uri hooked up his amps to my TV and my room was shaking with rock songs blasting our eardrums out. It was truly epic.
What a slick night, I want to do that more often on Fridays.

Toby is Weird
My poodle is stupid.
Earlier, I was playing ball in the driveway... it hit the tree... hit him in the nose.... hit the fence.... and then he caught it. It never hit the ground...
But then my mom found out that he's afraid of balloons!!! He's not just afraid of squirrels, but balloons too. So she chased him through the house with it... it was really funny.

Ultimate
It, was, EPIC!
So today was MY first game of Ultimate Frisbee... and I think I did great.
I played some good deense, but wasn't too good with throwing. I did score us one, or two points. And I blocked a LOT of throws. One guy was mad tall, and I denied him the disk as many times as I could. As Pete Yochim said: "Again, you are a defensive monster." It's true, thank you very much. But the rest of the team did fantastic as well. Oz and Carl owned on offense, Shaun played some sick d, Janelle and the girls played pretty well, and Pete and Uri seemed to be everywhere. We also had an epic offensive player Nick from Ferrin Hall. It was pretty cool. We lost 8-16 but we had it, until the end... when they score like 4 points in two minutes. Grrr.
Anyhow, I had fun and I'm really psyched about this play my friend Jasmine wrote. It's at ten, and I get chapel credit! Budda bing!!!!

Opening Day at Fenway!
SO my dad invited me to Boston to be in the Fenway area when the game started today against the Rays. I came of course. But when I got there, my dad had this idea that he could get tickets... without being charged ridiculous prices for them. So he went to the scalp-free zone... and found tickets for $24 each! We both got in, and sat through the WHOLE GAME! I mean, it was OPENING GAME!!! How sweet is that?! And the Red Sox won too! 5-3. Beckett had a great game, letting up 2 hits and 1 run... with around 10 K's.... It was epic.
